Why I Like Shopping Online!
Updated 11/30/2015
I’ve been shopping online for many years. Being a full- time Housewife and Mom to 4 children (3 kids under 12 years old), plus having a dog, my life is quite hectic. So it just makes sense for me to shop online for a lot of things my family needs. I shop online for school supplies, dog food/supplies, fashions for my family, gifts for friends and families, and so on. I have discovered great online sites to shop from, that carry quality products and affordable prices. Most of these sites do not have brick-and- mortar locations. They strictly exist online. Here are the steps I take before I do e-commerce shopping:
1) Enter product/name on Google search (several sites will show up where product is available)
2) Review sites (most sites have been rated by customers, but also if they are legitimate)
3) Compare prices
4) Check any promotions (a lot of sites offer free shipping and other discounts)
5) Type of payments they take (most sites accept Amazon or Paypal which I like to use for security reason)
6) Always check for coupon codes for discounts before checking out (i.e. retailmenot.com and coupons.com)
Shopping online is not only convenient but also saves me a lot of money. There’s also a vast selection to choose from especially when it comes to sizes. I hate going to a store physically and finding out that they are out of stock or they don’t have the size I’m looking for. Besides the stress of driving to a store, especially living in the city, or walking to a store, getting there and not finding what I want is such a time waster! Saving money and time, plus convenience, is why I do most of my shopping online. Also, as I get older my time is even more valuable. Time is something that you can never get back!
The following are some of the stores I shop from:
Amazon (prime and free shipping for almost anything)
Myhabit.com (deals on designer brands for the whole family and this site is own by Amazon so you sign in with your Amazon account)
6pm.com (deals on designer brands for the whole family)
Altrec.com (outdoor/sportswear for the whole family)
