Fashion to me means looking awesome, practical, comfortable, and it has to be affordable. I live in Chicago, the windy city, where we have 4 seasons. In the winter I like to wear pants, sweater, and boots. I wear different types of pants from blue jeans to leggings (cloth, leather, and faux leather). For my top I usually wear long sleeve tops. I layer my clothes because of the brutal winter weather we have here in Chicago. I wear tights inside my blue jeans, double up on my leggings, and short sleeves or sleeveless shirt inside my long sleeve top. For shoes I often wear low heel boots. I like to pair up my outfit with over the knee leather or suede boots, and they’re mostly black since black makes you look taller if you are a petite or an average height woman like me. I would invest on a nice coat, maybe a fitted shearling coat, a more dressier and fitted down coat, or a nice fitted wool or a cashmere coat. I like to wear black. It is a flattering and slimming color. You can pretty much pair up any solid black pants with any color tops. I pair mine with black, dark green, silver, and copper tops. Scarf is also a must for me in the winter. You can dress up any outfit with a scarf. Here is an example of an outfit I wear, where I got them, and their prices. Sweater from Express on sale for under $20, faux leather pants from H&M for under $40, over the knee suede boots from Myhabit.com for under $140, and a scarf from Macy’s, a present from my oldest son.
